Who we are
Nau Catarineta began as a cultural documentation project conceived by Fábio Rodrigo Cavalcante da Silva, in partnership with Társio Alves, to value and preserve the popular expressions of the Northeast. Fábio, an amateur photographer and videographer, founded the channel driven by his passion for capturing cultural events, traditional festivals, and Northeastern landscapes with sensitivity and authenticity. Alongside him, Társio—a professional photographer, photography and photojournalism professor, and historian specializing in Northeastern history—brings refined technique, a documentary eye, and a deep knowledge of the region's folk memory. Together, they form a duo dedicated to immortalizing the Northeastern cultural richness.
